The L298N  Motor Driver Module is a high voltage Dual H-Bridge manufactured by ST company. It is designed to accept standard TTL voltage levels. H-bridge drivers are used to drive inductive loads that requires forward and reverse function with speed control such as DC Motors, and Stepper Motors. This Dual H-Bridge driver is capable of driving voltages up to 46V and continuous current up to 2A in each channels.

Specifications:
•    Operating supply voltage up to 35 volts
•    It can drive bipolar stepper motor up to 2 Amps.
•    Bidirectional control of 2 DC motors up to 2 amps each.
•    By connecting two H Bridges in parallel it can drive DC motor with current capacity of 4 Amps
•    2 DC motor/ 4 coil dual phrase stepper motor output
•    Current sensing output
•    Over temperature protection
•    This motor driver has strong driving ability, low heat, and strong anti-interference ability.
•    H-bridge dual channel type driver, drive voltage is 5V to 35V, drive current is 2A.
•    There is a big heat sink on board for better heat dissipation.
•    Convenient to use, designed with screw terminals for easy wiring.

Notes:
1. When driving voltage is 7V-12V, it can use on-board 5V logic voltage as power supply; when using on-board 5V as power supply, do not input voltage on the +5V terminal,however,it can lead to 5V voltage for external use. (this is a regular application)
2. When driving voltage is higher than 12V and less than or equal to 24V, for example, to drive motor with a rated voltage of 18V, first of all, you must pull out the jumper of on-board 5V output enable.Then connect 5V to the 5V output port external.
5V enable is a control signal with a 5V level; when the input signal is valid and power supply of motor drive module is normal, motor driver module outputs current. Otherwise, even if the power supply is normal, there is no current on motor.
